Oak Aged Farm

Do you like goats? Do you want to cuddle them? Feed them? Frolic with them in the afternoon?

Well tucked away on a country road, on the border of Lake Nona and St. Cloud, is the quaint, friendly local Oak Aged Farm.

It is a working farm where you purchase eggs and seasonal goat milk products (as these products make great holiday gifts). They also offer fun experiences where you can interact and even do yoga with their goats.

My friend and I visited the farm to cuddle and feed some goats. This only happens once a week, on Saturdays at 11 am. You will need to purchase a ticket ahead of time. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids. If you want to bottle feed them, you need to purchase that at the same time as your ticket.

*Note* I forgot to purchase a bottle ahead of time, but they have a few bottles and Tupperware of food for purchase at check-in. The Tupperware of food is $5 and bottles are $15. They take card and cash.

Check in at the barn

After you check in and they verified you have signed your waiver, which they email you ahead of time, you will head over into the gated area where there are picnic tables and await the release of the goats!

It was so much fun! The goats are very friendly and comfortable around people.

They are all very excited because they know it is food time, but after all the initial hoopla, things settle down, and it is much easier to pick one up and give it a cuddle.

You have one hour of enjoying all the goat nugget love, and then we, unfortunately, must get back to our busy lives, and the goats have to do goat things.

There is a wash station to use after all the farm animal play.

I enjoyed talking to the two ladies who were running the event about the farm, learning about their other events such as goat yoga (which I can't wait to come back and experience), movie nights with goats, fall activities, and again their goat milk products.

So take your lunch hour, and instead of going to Pilates or Starbucks, get you some goat nugget lovin' at sweet Oak Aged Farm!
